Electrical Supervisor
Location: London
Salary:: £52,500 - £57,500
Benefits: Travel passes supplied, 20 days holiday + 8 days Bank Holiday
An established Electrical Contractor are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join their expanding team covering projects across London.
The company delivers installation projects in a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, student accommodation, retail, hotels and leisure.
As the Electrical Supervisor you will be overseeing progress of electrical installation works, ensuring quality control, compliance and safety regulations. Working closely with the electrical project management team to ensure the projects are completed to required contractual schedule and standards.
As the Electrical Supervisor you will have the following responsibilities:
Provide guidance and support to Electrical site teams to ensure high standards of work.
Inspect and assess installations throughout the project and upon completion.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
Hold toolbox talks with the labour team.
Liaise with project managers to address any issues ensuring smooth project execution.
Maintain close working relationships with sub-contractors and internal teams.
Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems and their installation methods.
Experience supervising electrical teams with strong leadership and management skills.
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience in planning, scheduling and executing electrical projects.
The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
Valid ECS card.
Relevant electrical qualifications in electrical systems – City & Guilds Level 3 - Electrical Installations 18th Edition – 2391-52: Level 3 in Inspection and Testing).
